2004 AQHA                                                                                         PEDIGREE

Barn Name: Pearl
Genotype: E/e, A/A, Cr/Cr
Color: Perlino
Height: 14.1

Sire: Chex That Out (lte: $48k +)
Out of Smart Little Lena (lte: $743k +)

Dam: Busy Little Lena
Out of Tuf N Busy (lte $277k +)

With her excellent pedigree and guarantee for palomino or buckskin babies, Pearl will be a broodmare... eventually. But right now she is full of energy and shows endless talent so I am happy to give her a job in the cutting arena.
She will be in training at Grand Chenier Ranch for the remainder of my deployment.

RC Blueberry Boon

2005 AQHA
Barn Name: Boon

Genotype: E/e, a/a, Cr/n?
Color: Blue Roan, possibly smokey blue roan
Height: 14.2

Sire: Yellow Roan of Texas (lte $73k +)
Out of Peptoboonsmal (lte $180k +)

Dam: Peppymint Pleasure
Out of Peppymint Dry

This gorgeous lady has joined us in California and she is quite the character, very full of herself and definitely worthy of the show ring. I will post her genetic color results as soon as I can get them.

She is well under saddle and will be an excellent addition to the Arrow Maker Ranch breeding program as well.
Her cremello half brother, Peptocremzemal, is now standing at Rick Edney Cutting Horses. Boon will be bred to Tuf Rockin Blues Bar for a 2011 foal that will be for sale. With my current guess at Blueberry Boon's genotype, the foal has a 75% chance of being a blue roan and 25% chance of black.

Can You Hear Me Now

2001 APHA
Sorrel overo
Barn Name: Simon

Simon is my big "free" paint gelding and Arrow Maker Ranch's coverboy.

He came to us from Craigslist and actually has a knack for cattle.
We're trying to get his foot fixed up and then I think he'll have a great time with team penning. He's one of those total around great horses that can go western and push cattle or round out and collect to win English classes; but he really is just a big ol' goof.
