Zeus is coming 2 yo and has been lightly started. He is doing awesome and will be a breeze to train. He will still wait for a limited introductory breeding season in 2011.
Zeus is a perlino champagne dun: a
bay base coat with two cream genes, one champagne gene and one dun
gene. He has settled in well and he and Blue are the best of buddies. These pictures are all quite old and I am hoping for new ones soon.
His temperament is
awesome. He is curious, smart, rock steady and takes everything in with
no issues. He is well socialized and lightly started. Zeus is newly registered with the Foundation Quarter Horse Association with an 87% foundation calculation.
The options for offspring with Zeus are numerous and ALL color: gold or amber creams, gold or amber cream duns, buckskins, palominos, dunalinos, dunskins, perlinos, cremellos, perlino duns and cremello duns. He is going to be a very stout and solid boy.
According to the International Champagne Horse Registry (ICHR), this triple dilution is the only one of its
kind in the world. And with the dun gene, Zeus is actually a quadruple dilute.
